On the first day of Christmas, my FOF trainer gave to me, 1 chest to floor burpee.  That has a nice ring to it, doesn’t it?  All kidding aside, the FOF 12 Days of Christmas is one of my favorite Christmas workouts.

We have done a new variation of this workout every year, but the structure stays the same.  You simply follow the song.  You can throw in weights, a run, jump rope, or just stick to body weight exercises.

Today’s variation is quick, so it’s a great workout to do if you are traveling this Christmas.  You don’t need any equipment, and we can promise you will be singing the jingle for days.

12 Days of Christmas Workout

Let’s start with the structure.  Just sing the song.  On the first day of Christmas, you have 1 chest to floor burpee.  On the second day of Christmas, you have 2 double jack burpees.  Remember, the song always counts back down to 1.  So, for the second day, you do 2 double jack burpees and then 1 chest to floor burpee.

You will repeat the structure until you hit the 12th day of Christmas.  That is your final round, and you will complete the 12, 11, 10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, and then 1.

  1. Chest to Floor Burpee
  2. Double Jack Burpees
  3. Plank with a Knee Drive (2 ct)
  4. Chest to Floor Push ups
  5. Burpees
  6. Pike Push ups
  7. Rockers
  8. V ups
  9. Supermans
  10. Floor Hops (2 ct)
  11. Jump Lunges (2 ct)
  12. Squat Jacks
